Trust & compliance

Compliance built into every mission.

Grow your business. Tentalead structures the framework.

Working with an independent sales professional should bring agility to your company, not open new grey areas. Tentalead structures the collaboration from the moment the mission is created, to support clear, professional and secure relationships between companies and sales freelancers.

Our approach

What Tentalead puts in place, point by point.

Identified professionals

Before they can take on missions through Tentalead, sales freelancers provide the information that identifies their professional activity: identity, legal status, company registration number, VAT number, commercial agent registration where applicable and professional contact details.

That information is declared by the professional, then reviewed before the profile is published. A review is not a certification: it covers the consistency and readability of the information, not the accuracy of the sales results claimed.

The level of evidence therefore stays explicit on every profile: what is declared is presented as declared.

A mission scoped from the start

Every mission states its objectives, its target market, the resources made available, the expected deliverables and the compensation terms.

The brief separates what the company expects — outcome, scope, target, indicators — from the way the professional organizes the work to get there.

A genuine relationship between independent professionals

The sales freelancer remains free to accept or decline a mission, to organize their activity and to choose their own methods within the scope of the brief.

Scoping a mission asks the company whether the sales freelancer may work for other clients during the mission — that answer is required before the mission can be submitted for publication — and whether their time is organized as agreed availability slots or as imposed working hours. Those answers are stored with the mission and read during the review: Tentalead collects and keeps them, it does not arbitrate them.

The company defines the need, the objectives and the expected results; the professional keeps control over how the work is carried out. The product deliberately avoids features that would recreate powers of direction, supervision or sanction.

B2B prospecting compliance at the core of Tentalead

A sales mission often relies on data about prospects or employees of other companies. Scoping a mission therefore asks who provides the prospect list and, when the company provides all or part of it, where that data comes from and what it is used for.

Naming who provides the list is required before the mission can be submitted for publication, and so are the origin and the purpose as soon as the company provides all or part of it. Those answers are stored with the mission and read during the review that precedes publication. Tentalead collects and keeps them; it does not check them. Which professional audience is targeted and how objections are handled remain for the parties to agree.

For B2B electronic prospecting, the French data protection authority recalls that legitimate interest may notably be relied upon when the subject of the approach relates to the profession of the person contacted, provided they are informed and can object simply and free of charge.

Confidentiality and data protection

Files, CRM access, sales scripts, commercial proposals: the mission frames access to the company’s confidential information.

Use limited to the mission, access restricted to what is necessary, no reuse for another client, return or deletion at the end of the mission, and GDPR roles set out in writing where required.

Those commitments are written into the mission scoping: the company accepts them before the mission can be submitted for publication, the acceptance is timestamped and tied to the version of the text accepted, and a change to that text asks for a fresh one.

Supporting documents and follow-up

Company registration, professional liability insurance, social security compliance certificate: some missions call for supporting documents, and it is for the hiring company to request them.

Under French law a social security compliance certificate must be requested from the contractor above 5,000 € excluding tax, then renewed periodically during the engagement. A space to upload and track these documents is planned; until it ships, they are exchanged directly between the parties and Tentalead does not take over your own duty of diligence.

Mission traceability

Brief, selection of the sales freelancer, mission approval, key exchanges, deliverables and closing are kept in one place.

That traceability serves day-to-day steering as much as it later helps establish the actual nature of the engagement.

Legal qualification of a sales mission

One question has to be settled before the collaboration starts: is the sales freelancer authorized to negotiate or to sign contracts in the name and on behalf of the company? Scoping a mission asks it in two parts — negotiating the commercial terms, then signing a contract on the company’s behalf — and records the answer: yes, no, or to be clarified.

As long as either answer is missing, the mission cannot be submitted for publication. The answer is declared by the company and kept with the mission; it is restated to the company before it commits to a quote or starts the mission, and it is not a legal opinion from Tentalead.

When a mission permanently includes negotiating, and possibly concluding, contracts in the name and on behalf of the principal, the commercial agent regime may become relevant. Better to identify that before the collaboration starts than after.

What does it cost?

The business model, written down.

Signing up, publishing a mission and browsing profiles are free. Tentalead takes no commission on the sales freelancer’s pay: the company pays a service fee of 10% excluding tax for the first 6 months of a relationship with the same sales freelancer, then 5% excluding tax from month 7.

Frequently asked questions

What we get asked.

Are sales freelancers employed by Tentalead?

No. Tentalead introduces companies to professionals who run their own independent business.

Can the company set objectives?

Yes. A mission can carry objectives, deliverables and indicators. How the professional organizes the work must nevertheless remain compatible with their independence.

Can I provide a prospect list?

Yes, provided the company is entitled to use that data for the intended purpose and its use is framed by the mission.

Can the sales freelancer reuse my list?

No. Data entrusted for a mission is limited to that mission and to the purposes agreed.

What if the sales freelancer negotiates contracts?

The framework may need to be adapted. Scoping a mission asks what level of authority is granted — negotiating, then signing — and keeps the answer with the mission, so that missions possibly falling under a specific regime, the commercial agent regime in particular, are identified before the collaboration starts.

A clear framework before the first call.
